PROJECT 01
Aayukshetram Ayurveda Hospital & Health Resort,
Nettirachira, Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram.
76.5 KW Solar Hybrid Power Plant
About The Client
Aayukshetram Ayurvedic Health Resort located in the heart place of Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram is the home for wellness & healing.Ammini Solar receives an opportunity from Aayukshetram Ayurvedic Health Resort to set up a Solar Power Generating System and we have successfully supplied, installed and commissioned a big project of 76.5KW Hybrid Solar Power Plant at the premise on December 2013 and is working satisfactorily till now. The client meets the over all power requirements with this Solar Power Plant as the system generates about 300 units of electricity per day.
System Specification:
- Solar PV Array: 76.5 KW
- Module Mounting Structure & Other essential Accessories
- Solar Inverter: 80KW (20KWx4 Nos)
- Bi-Directional Inverter: 45KW (5KWx9 Nos)
- Battery Storage: 48V 1500 Ah
- Multi Cluster Box & Remote Monitoring Unit: 1 Set
The System is designed to work as follows:
During day time when sufficient sunlight is available, the load will be powered from the solar electricity generated and if any excess energy generates is used for charging the battery bank. During day time when solar energy is not available to power the load the balance energy will be drawn from the battery storage. During night time the load will be powered from the battery. Incase battery storage is not available then load will be powered from utility grid. Normally battery storage needs to be charged from solar energy only but the system has a provision to charge the battery from utility if battery voltage falls below a preset voltage. If solar, battery and utility is not available the system will be able to work from stand by generator. The first priority is for solar, then for battery and the last priority is for AC Mains.
So the overall aim of the project is to deliver un-interrupted power supply to the client.
PROJECT 02
Cochin Shipyard,
Ravipuram, Ernakulam
60 KW Grid Connected Solar Power Plant in Main Office Building
About The Client
Cochin Shipyard Ltd is the largest shipbuilding and maintenance facility in India. It is part of a line of maritime-related facilities in the port-city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. Of the services provided by the shipyard are building platform supply vessels and double-hulled oil tankers.Ammini Solar receives an opportunity from Cochin Shipyard to set up a Solar Power Generating System and we have successfully supplied, installed and commissioned a big project of 60KW Grid Connected Solar Power Plant at the premise on 05th November 2014 and is working satisfactorily till now. This Solar Power Plant generates about 240 units of electricity per day.
System Specification:
- Solar PV Array: 60KW
- Solar Inverter: 60KW (20KWx3 Nos)
- Module Mounting Structure & Other essential Accessories
The System is designed to work as follows:
During day time when sufficient sun light is available, the load will be powered from the solar electricity generated. During day time when sufficient solar electricity is not available to power the load from solar and balance energy will be drawn from the utility grid.During day time when sufficient sun light is available, the load will be powered from the solar and balance export to utility grid.
During night time, when no solar energy is available, the load will be powered from the utility power. If the Solar and Mains is not available, the system will be able to work from stand-by Generator.
In general, the priority of usage of input energy sources will be in the following order.First Priority: SolarSecond Priority: Mains
There will be no break in the supply while changing from one mode to another mode of operation.
