Omega electronics has been in the field of Manufacturing and Marketing
of Solar PV systems and Energy conservation products for the last 9 years.
During this period we have designed and developed a number of Solar PV lighting
systems. Also we have thousands of installations throughout the country
which include about 60,000 numbers of Solar Lanterns , 5000 numbers of Solar
Home lighting systems and many Solar Street lights.
The main 2 projects are Village Electrification Using Solar PV Omega electronics has been in the field of Manufacturing and Marketing of Solar PV systems and Energy conservation products for the last 10 years. During this period we have designed and developed a number of Solar PV lighting system. During this period, Agency for Non Conventional Energy and Rural Technology (ANERT), the state Nodal agency of renewable energy and energy conservation, in the state of Kerala have been our energy sources by giving constant encouragement and support in our humble effort in harnessing Solar Energy and Energy conservation. As a contractor for implementing this project for ANERT, it has given us immense satisfaction after completing this task. This project was unique in many aspects when compared to our earlier association with ANERT and other agencies in supplying Solar PV systems. Geographically all this sites are very remote and in some cases even we walked about 25 KM to reach the sites deep in the forest. We had to arrange food, accommodation, medicines etc for the installation team members were insured. Park The park was inaugurated on 20th Sep 2002 by O.Rajagopal Hon'ble Central Minister. The park has items from the following fields of renewable energy.
In Solar thermal items like Solar Cooker, Solar Food Warmer, Solar Drier, Solar Water Heater etc are displayed. In Solar PV items like Solar Lantern, Solar TV, Solar Power Plant 4KW, Solar Garden Light, Solar Refrigerator, Solar Powered Egg Incubator, Solar Powered toys etc are here. In Bioenergy items lke Biogas plants, Gasifiers, Community Chula etc are displayed. Click the Images to Zoom.

It
was one of the prestigious projects of Omega Electronics and we completed
it within a record time of 4 months. In the park all kinds of renewable
energy items are displayed from solar to microhydal you name it and it
is there.
