The solar home controller is the energy manager in a small standalone SPV system such as a Solar Home System
It is a micro controller based sophisticated device, which includes solar charge controller, load control, system protections, indications and wiring centre for the system in a single unit.
Primary purpose of home controller is to prevent the battery from being over charged. The Home controller also prevents battery being over discharged.
Solar Home controller has separate load connecting points. You can connect many loads at a time, which can be controlled individually by the Rocker switches provided on the controller.
